Unfortunately, dealing with haters is something that is inevitable when interacting with other human beings. It's hard not letting the naysayers get to you, and it can take a toll on your emotions and motivation. Entrepreneur Neil Patel has shared his three-step process for dealing with haters: Think, Act, Forget.

Think:

Stop and consider what the person in question said. Was it a valid point?

Act:

If the point was valid, do something to fix it. Tackle the situation and consider the point as constructive criticism. If the point was not valid or you simply don't agree and don't want to act on it, do nothing.

Forget:

What was said was said. But now it's over and you should move on. "You’re free to live your life with reckless abandon and unchained joy," Patel writes.

And that's it. Brush it off your shoulders and move on. As the saying goes, haters gonna hate -- but you don't have to pay any attention to them.
