Baydin, the team behind the Boomerang email plugin, released an infographic that sheds light on the best words to use if you want to maximize email responses. Surprisingly, both positive ("demo," "opportunity," "connect") and negative ("cancellation," "payments") words proved to be effective terms used in email subject lines. Email marketers and other professionals who rely on email responses should similarly avoid "softer" words like "join," "invite" or even "confirm."
