This Credit Loan infographic on marketing via blogging and social media indicates that the onslaught of Web-driven promotion and engagement is far from over. By 2012, 43 percent of U.S. companies will be blogging -- that's up from just 16 percent in 2007.
Other fun stats on online marketing: Some 61 percent of small business owners use social media to identify and attract new customers, while 77 percent engage in email marketing. What's more, 70 percent use social media to monitor their brand and 54 percent use tools like Twitter and Facebook to monitor customer feedback.
