Yesterday, we showed you how some of the world's most creative people spent their time. The information was presented on a poster, with each individual's time shown through a 24-hour wheel. The folks over at The Daily Muse took this concept and turned it into something we can all use to track our time.
All you have to do is grab the poster below, print it out or upload it to any photo editing tool. Assign a color to each of the activities you do in a day (such as sleep, eat, work, chores, etc.), and use those colors to allocate specific time blocks in the wheel. Do this every day for about a week to see how you are really spending your time.
At the end of the week, evaluate each of your productivity wheels and see how effective your routine really is. Do you work at the same time every day? Do you take a lunch break? Are you getting enough exercise? Find one area to improve on and make necessary changes the following week. Keep doing this until you've got a routine you're happy with.
