I loathe mornings. This is a well known fact on the Ridiculously Efficient blog, as I am constantly looking for new and fun ways to get myself out of bed at a decent time each day, and not totally hate the first couple hours of the day. Here's an easy method from fitness coach and author of the The Perfect Day Formula: How to Own the Day and Control Your Life, Craig Ballantyne, that will give you a better night's rest and help you spring out of bed (instead of that slow and painful crawl). 

It's pretty simple. 

10 hours before bed: No more caffeine

3 hours before bed: No more food or alcohol

2 hours before bed: No more work

1 hour before bed: No more screen time

0: The number of times you hit the snooze button in the morning

"When you follow this formula, you’ll get more done and stop letting the big opportunities in your life from slipping away. You can do it. And it’s all worth it so you can live a healthy, productive life, free from anxiety," Bellantyne wrote.
