MozillaThis week's Avant-Garde Offices star is Mozilla, the company behind open-source browser Firefox. Its Mountain View and San Francisco offices were designed by MKThink with collaboration and openness in mind.

The Mozilla office emphasizes teamwork at every turn. Coworking spaces, event areas, team rooms and mini cafes abound; in fact, there isn't a single private office. MKThink writes that the space's focus is on "fun, flexible, functional furniture solutions to support the desired spontaneity and elasticity of their space with the culture of transparency that they fiercely defend and has built their brand."
