journaling

You have a ton of ideas, but you just don't know where to start. A lot of entrepreneurs start out this way -- they have great ideas but lack the direction necessary to turn said ideas into a thriving business. An easy and simple way to combat this lack of direction is by journaling every day.

The problem lies in the fact that you aren't being held accountable for getting closer to realizing your dreams, nor do you have a clear plan of the steps you need to take. A journal, while time consuming, will serve as both a planner and a way of keeping yourself accountable.

Each page of your journal should have three categories: your goal, what you achieved this week and what you plan on achieving next week. Doing this will force you to break down what each step will take and you'll begin to love listing what you achieved each week. If you happen to have a slow week, not to fret -- just adjust your goals for the following week.

It's time to stop making excuses! Grab the closest notebook and start journaling to get you closer to your goals.
